Our Story

Imagineers was established in 1986 as a partnership between two brothers – Geoff and Dave Cooper – as a company providing engineering support for the foam conversion industry. The company operated from a small outlet in Holmer Green in Buckinghamshire and within two years a limited range of cutlery was designed and introduced to support and maintain independent living for those with difficulties with everyday tasks.

The cutlery system required the amalgamation of two disciplines – foam conversion and plastic injection moulding. Initially the plastic components were produced by a local injection moulding company based in High Wycombe but in 1990, the company was taken over by the partners creating new opportunities and a different way forward.

Following the takeover, the business operated from two independent sites but in 1990 we moved from Holmer Green and located under one roof in High Wycombe. With more space available, investment in large-scale cutting equipment allowed the company to look at other product ideas and markets – including promotional printed foam hands.

We are passionate about UK manufacturing and set out to ensure our solid engineering background would enable us to create products from start to finish under our control without the need of imports or sub-contractors.

This is crucial in the Promotional market since goods arriving after an event are as much use as an out-of-date rail ticket. Our belief in our expertise coupled with an overriding desire to ensure customer satisfaction quickly established Imagineers as the market leader in the production of printed foam hands in the UK.

As our business expanded opportunities to produce foam products for the furniture industry arose and by the start of the new century, investment in NC technology gave the company the opportunity to produce almost limitless different shapes for any number of uses.

Our range of promotional products has expanded and screen printed ranges are now further enhanced by additional recent investment that enables us to offer high quality full colour images on foam.

To celebrate our 25^th anniversary in manufacturing our website has been greatly improved to deal with the ever-increasing demand for foam merchandise from our trade customers.
